Once upon a time in Japan - Personal collection

Dear Reader,

It is my great pleasure to meet you and I hope we will have a long and engaging journey together

Here are some snippets about my background and personality:

Origin: Turkic and Mongolian, from near the second largest mountainous lake in the world;

Educational background: 5 years of grinding English vocabulary and crunching works of classic giants ( BA in Foreign Languages and Literature) and 2 years of trying to work out the intricacies of the art "of thinking twice before saying nothing" (PGD in Contemporary Diplomacy);

Linguistic skills: I happen to speak Russian - the Soviet Union legacy; English - the product of Anglo-Frisian dialects - was my educational choice. The German language has ruthlessly abandoned me as I have not practiced it for a very long time and sadly I have not been too loyal to my mother tongue, Kyrgyz...

Free time: Pampering soul and mind through books and Internet. Enthralling beats of salsa have been my latest affection.

Writers and their works that have always captivated my mind: A. Pushkin (‘Eugene Onegin’, 'The Captain's Daughter'), M. Bulgakov ('The Master and Margarita'), C. Aitmatov (all his works), V. Hugo (‘The Man Who Laughs’) and a number of not less honorable authors.

Future aspirations: Pursuing writing at a professional level, having a loving family and a cozy house with a huge library near the sea.
